1. Purpose & Scope

Spiritual Surrogates (“the Platform”) is a faith-based community connection service designed to facilitate mentorship, prayer partnerships, and Christ-centered companionship among Christian believers. By submitting a survey profile, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Platform.
• You must be a professing Christian believer or actively seeking Christ-centered community.
• You must be a current or former member of a recognized Christian church congregation.
• You agree to provide truthful and accurate information in your profile.

3. Use of Your Information

The information you provide — including your name, age, location, church affiliation, email address, and spiritual maturity assessment — will be used solely to:

• Match you with compatible faith companions and mentors.
• Send you platform updates and community announcements (if consent is given).
• Improve and operate the Platform.

4. Community Standards & Conduct

All participants agree to:

• Treat all members with dignity, respect, and Christian charity.
• Not use the Platform for romantic solicitation, financial solicitation, or any form of harassment.
• Report any inappropriate contact or behavior to Platform administrators immediately.
• Maintain honesty and transparency in all interactions facilitated through the Platform.
• Honor the faith-based nature of all connections and conversations.

5. Church Affiliation Requirement

To participate, you must provide the name of a Christian church you currently attend or have recently attended. This requirement exists to:

• Ensure connections remain rooted in genuine faith community.
• Allow for pastoral accountability when appropriate.
• Maintain the integrity and safety of the Platform community.

Church affiliation does not mean your church is responsible for or endorses your participation in Spiritual Surrogates.

6. Voluntary Participation & No Guarantees

Participation in Spiritual Surrogates is entirely voluntary. The Platform does not guarantee any specific match, connection, or outcome. We are a facilitation tool only — all relationships formed through this Platform are the sole responsibility of the participants involved.

7. Safety & Liability Waiver

You are encouraged to take all appropriate precautions when interacting with new contacts, including meeting in public places and informing a trusted person of your plans.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Your profile data is stored locally on your device (demo version). You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting Platform administrators or clearing your browser’s local storage. We will honor deletion requests promptly.

9. Modifications

The Platform reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Principles

This Platform is guided by Biblical principles of love, service, and community (1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Galatians 6:2; Hebrews 10:24–25). All participants are expected to uphold these values in every interaction.
